This rivnut is threaded for 10-32 screws.

  • Rivet nuts, aka rivnut, are useful for putting threads in sheet metal or box tubing to attach low load items like panels, and small brackets. The tool threads into the nut, and crimps it on either side of the material, locking it in place. Rivet nuts are especially useful when accessing the back side of the joint is difficult.

    They can be installed with our threaded insert tool (am-4364).
